Hi, I’m Gia!

I’m the owner of Bing Brew, and I’ve pretty much been figuring this whole thing out as I go.

I built Bing Brew myself, with a lot of help from my dad along the way. We built the cart together, and I ended up learning way more about building, tools, and how things actually work than I ever expected to. I am hoping to help others with similar dreams in the future too!

I’ve also been documenting the whole process of starting Bing Brew on TikTok, from building the cart, figuring out permits and equipment to getting everything ready to actually start booking events.

It definitely hasn’t all been easy and I have my family, my friends, and my boyfriend Jayden to thank for putting up with all of the questions, ideas, stress, and everything else that has come with starting a business. I am very lucky to be surrounded by people who want to see my business thrive and be willing to help in any way that they can.

Why, “BING”?

Bing has been my nickname since I was little. My mom, aunt, and cousin started calling me Bing, but no one could ever tell me where it came from, except maybe a Bing cherry, which led to a pretty perfect connection.

If you didn’t know, coffee starts as a fruit called a coffee cherry. The “bean” we know as coffee is actually the seed inside that fruit.

So there’s a little bit of family, a little bit of my childhood, and a little bit of coffee all in the name Bing Brew.

And now I get to bring something I love to other people’s gatherings

About BING BREW

Bing Brew started after a few years in the corporate world. I worked in recruiting and spent a lot of time working with students, and I also had the opportunity to work for a coffee company. That experience made me realize how much I genuinely love coffee and hospitality and how much I enjoy being around people.

Growing up, I remember family dinners ending with someone saying they were going to “put a pot of coffee on.” It was never just about the coffee. It meant everyone was staying a little longer. We’d have dessert, keep talking, and enjoy being together.

After a few years in the corporate world, I knew I wanted to do something of my own that could give others the feeling of wanting to stick around a little longer. I wanted to be my own boss and build something around the things I genuinely enjoy. I wanted to bring the feeling of a great cafe to other people and be a part of the gatherings that make those memories.

That’s how Bing Brew came to be.
